Michael M. Daly

The Daly Law Firm was founded by Michael Daly in 1994 following several years of civil litigation and employment law practice at one of San Diego’s oldest and most respected law firms (Higgs Fletcher & Mack).   Mr. Daly provides legal advice regarding human resources, litigation prevention, wage and hour matters, collective bargaining, grievances, management rights, wrongful termination and discrimination.  He also litigates and defends employers in lawsuits filed in state and federal court, and in administrative proceedings filed with the DFEH, EEOC, Labor Commissioner and CUIAB. In addition to his private law practice, Mr. Daly serves as General Counsel to the San Diego Employers Association.

Michael Daly has achieved an “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell, the authoritative rating source on the legal profession. This is the highest and most prestigious peer review rating an attorney can receive, signifying preeminence in his field and professional excellence. Mr. Daly is listed in the 2008 Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers in the United States.

Judith Hartwig

Of Counsel

Judith Hartwig has represented clients in employment matters since 1995. Early in her career, her practice was limited to the representation of employees in employment discrimination and wrongful termination matters. Later she focused on real estate litigation, and the representation of small businesses in business litigation, employment discrimination, wrongful termination and wage and hour litigation. Currently, Ms. Hartwig represents both employers and employees in business litigation, employment discrimination, wrongful termination and wage and hour litigation, and provides ongoing litigation prevention advice to her small business clients. Ms. Hartwig has appeared in state and federal courts, California courts of appeal, in AAA, SEC and Better Business Bureau arbitrations and in various administrative proceedings.
